PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Total Reward & Payroll Manager, the role holder will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs aligned with our business objectives and employee value proposition. This role also ensures compliance, operational excellence, and data accuracy across all reward-related activities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist in the design and maintenance of salary structures, pay scales, and incentive schemes in alignment with organizational goals and market trends.
- Administer employee benefits programs including medical insurance, life insurance, retirement/pension plans, and other non-monetary rewards.
- Support in the regular compensation benchmarking, job evaluations, and market surveys to ensure competitiveness and internal equity.
- Support the annual compensation review process, including salary adjustments, bonuses, and incentive calculations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate data for payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate compensation transactions.
- Collaborate with external providers for benefits administration and renewals; ensure quality service delivery.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to pay, benefits, and reward policies in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and internal compensation and benefits policies.
- Provide analytical support and reporting on compensation and benefits metrics, including cost analysis and forecasting.
- Participate in audits and ensure appropriate documentation and controls for compensation and benefits programs.
- Facilitate the application of NSSF, SHIF and HELB Compliance certificate.
- Any other related tasks as they may be assigned from time to time.
