About the Role
This role ensures brand consistency, creative quality, and campaign effectiveness across all touchpoints. The officer will drive the daily coordination of marketing operations while supporting the delivery of compelling creative work, optimizing vendor relationships, and ensuring on-time and on-budget execution of brand and product campaigns. This role is based in Malawi.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Support & Consistency
- Maintain brand guidelines of marketing communication materials across the Group
- Align with product development leads on brand messaging consistency in day-to-day marketing activities
- Coordinate brand asset library and ensure proper usage across teams
Campaign Assistance
- Support marketing communication function in campaign execution and implementation across mainstream and digital channels
- Track campaign metrics and compile performance data
Media & Vendor Coordination
- Develop media/vendor communications and coordinate administrative tasks to support their delivery
- Participate in media buying activities for Malawi subsidiaries
- Maintain vendor relationships and contract documentation
- Coordinate ad placement schedules and asset delivery
Administrative & Operational Support
- Work with service providers to ensure adherence to marketing budgets and track expenditures
- Reporting and documentation of marketing activities
- Support cross-functional team coordination on brand-related projects
- Provide general administrative support to the marketing department
Research & Analysis Support
- Conduct basic market research and compile findings for management review
- Conduct competitor analysis and trend monitoring on social media and website
- Coordinate audience research and data collection initiatives to inform decision making
Creative Design
- Create and design artworks across the Group.
- Conceptualize and create high-quality and visually appealing graphics
- Create, Update & Monitor consistency of internal & external communication designs
Compliance
- Ensure adherence to both external and internal policies and procedures
Who We’re Looking For
Essential Knowledge/Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or any other related field
- Relevant certification in Marketing or Graphic Design
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience
